Motive to post a meme?

So many people are just posting meme on Pewdiepie's LWIAY sub reddit, to help him make money, for free.
Unless a person is an established "content creator", he's not profiting from it.

I know some people are just posting memes for the "haha", in return, Reddit gives them some made up "points", that's really stupid.
It's like what Jerry did in Rick and Morty.

Now replace the Jerry's joke with trending topics.

Making memes consumes time, what motives do people have to post a meme?
